VA Client Receives $65,000 in Free Equity

sold home in virginia

Coming off a strong September, the real estate professionals at R.E. Shilow Realty did not let the fall weather cool them down!

Navy Veteran reached out to our agent Keith Eades on Labor Day looking for assistance with his home search. After a long day of visiting homes in the Ellicott City communities; our client was not satisfied with the inventory of homes available and expressed his thoughts of Frederick County. Keith knew his broker Ryan Shilow had sold heavy equipment throughout Frederick County for many years before starting R.E. Shilow Realty and he would be the right person the client needed to meet to navigate the real estate environment.

After meeting the founder of R.E. Shilow real estate company Ryan Shilow, who gave them a first hand look at what Frederick had to offer and lunch at one of Frederick's most popular bar and restaurants, Champions Billiards, the client knew they were with the right agency to help them find their Frederick home.

On October the 27th, 2015 our clients happily settled into their home in the sought after community of Urbana, Maryland. The two-story 4,100 square-foot home sold for the price of $525,000. Taxes records indicate this home sits on 8,140 square-feet of land. At the time of the transaction, Ryan understood the VA loan program which allowed our client to financing 100% of their loan without having to make a down payment. Ryan and Keith wanted to make sure we got the best deal for the veteran who served in the Navy for 15 years.

This amazing luxury colonial featured a chef sized kitchen, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, granite counters a huge sunlit morning room, recessed lighting, French doors, Trex- rear deck, fireplace, and study room. The grand master includes a sitting room, 2 person tub, separate shower and walk in closet. The fully finished lower level is complete with playroom, guest suite, full bath, and more!!

Keith and Ryan of R.E. Shilow Realty were able to negotiate $65,000 off the appraised price and get the seller’s to provide the buyers with $10,000 towards their closing cost. Also, R.E. Shilow donated a $3000 rebate to our client for closing costs. The property appraised for $580,000. The client received $55k equity to purchase this beautiful home for not one penny down. He literally showed up, signed his loan documents, and moved in $65,000 richer.

That is what we love to do for our Veterans!!!! Thank you for your protection!!!!
