M. Kate Furia 

Kate is a New York native where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Human Development. Kate’s work background has been quite diverse throughout her career.   She began her career as a top producing personal consultant in Manhattan filling fortune 500 companies support needs.  Her next endeavor brought her out to Long Island where she was a Mortgage Loan Officer.  Kate enjoyed helping her clients be able to purchase the homes of their dreams by walking them through the mortgage process.  

Kate’s most amazing accomplishment is her three children Alexandra, Tyler, and Jayne.  That is when she needed to shift priorities and became a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist so she was able to balance time between raising her family with her husband Frank and building a career.  She was able to establish a long-standing client list from New York City to Montauk, Long Island for over 15 years. 

Kate added working in Special Education while being a Massage Therapist.  She worked at Eastern Suffolk BOCES for over ten years with children with autism ranging from 5 to 21 years old.  After school, Kate would practice ABA training with the children and Parent Training to help the parent utilize various tools to help their children succeed.

Helping the Client is Priority

While her background ranges, one thing remained consistent—her passion for helping people.  Whether it was landing a career, helping them purchase a home, relieving pain for clients, or helping children and parents with various skills it always went back to helping.  Becoming a real estate agent was an organic choice for Kate and she is dedicated to helping clients find the perfect luxury home for their family or investment property for their portfolio.
