Averie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Maryland, and shortly after went into the family business of real estate sales and investment.

Averie’s family invests in several multiunit commercial properties throughout Prince George’s County and Baltimore, MD, that they rehab for the purposes of renting and commercial use. While watching her family build their business from the ground up, she learned several tricks of the trade that would later inform her career as an agent while staying well-connected to her community.
